We like office plants, but we love low maintenance plants the most. Studies have proved that plants can make employees feel cared for and happier, leading to higher job satisfaction and productivity. Fake plants, if they’re realistic enough, can help provide the same effects with just a regular dusting.

Whether real or fake, add some plants around the office and reap the benefits. We’ve listed a few of our favorite office plant picks for you below. Remember, underwatering is better than overwatering.

  1. Snake Plant

Pretty indestructible and delightfully sculptural. It does well in bright or dim light.  Let it dry out between waterings.
  2. ZZ Plant

These guys grow pretty quickly and can tolerate low light, though they like things fairly bright. A little benign neglect is good- let it dry out between waterings.
  3. Pothos

Fast growing, very adaptable vine. Either dropping down from a hanging planter or climbing a trellis, pothos are great in an office and can grow up to a foot in a month even with only fluorescent lighting.
  4. Oxalis

Delightful little clover leaves open, close, and bloom; adding a little more interest in the office. Oxalis needs a decent amount of light, but infrequent waterings.
